Mr. Lorenz ... "I've scoured the best ratings to find a crib for our baby. Da Vinci Emily was the top of Consumer Reports, but this has not been evaluated at all. Emily and Kalani seem very similar, and this was considered a good thing, all the online reviews, so we bought this one month espresso to outline the positive and negative aspects of all the cribs espresso I could find.
First, the positives. It took my husband and me about two hours to assemble this crib. We were not in a hurry, and the instructions were simple, but it only took me a bit 'to make sure that everything was installed correctly. The wood is beautiful! It 'really nice espresso and espresso other matches our furniture perfectly. Everyone is shocked by how beautiful this is a crib!
We changed the time on him already - was to assemble and disassemble - that is not a problem. Our daughter is not quite four months, so I can not vouch for such a long-term wear, but often relies on and is fully supportive, as you would expect in a normal bed to be. Perhaps even more robust than a normal bed. In fact, it seems so incredibly positive, which I had intended to go up there with him!Now the negatives: Oh wait, no. I've been waiting for the crib, and scratch easily, because of other reviews, so we were careful when they meet, but it is not really a problem. I think there are few signs of small where the button rests on his pants, but you have to watch closely to see and are still in an espresso color. More depressions of scratches. Crib is an heirloom quality, and certainly exceeded our expectations. And 'one of the most beautiful furniture we have, and certainly more beautiful than other booths I've ever seen.
Now, years later: It 's still only a few small signs of Jean-buttons, but a little' gold has left some very visible signs of teeth along the railroad. We do not mind them, but you can see the cap when the child approaches the age of bites. Our daughter is probably just scraped his teeth something less than ten times, but each time has left a visible mark. This crib is still incredibly strong, though, and we know parents who have moved their child should sleep, and said that they could both sit on it with your child! Even a crib to five stars in my book, although some signs of teeth."
By Lauren Maar (SoCal) ... "The L-O-V-E, this crib! I am a mother first time and had done research on the crib "perfect" because we found out three weeks long! I saw a couple of other cribs, liked them, but never get a good deal on shipping or can be picked up at the store. In the end, my husband and I "settled" in Espresso Kalani. So it was a big customer (other then scratched and difficult to read instructions), but personally, everything was fantastic! This crib is so highly compressed that the damage to shipping and only scratched by me is my self-assembly (6 months Preggo) and is not so bad. But I must say that I see him scratching a lot in the future, but most of the cribs we tested had the same problem ... the instructions were easy to follow (although Preggo brain) and it took maybe 2 hours total a potty and a lunch break and once again, I could not do all this myself and it was easy! Oh, and the color is perfect Espresso! It is not too dark (you can go too far and it looks black) and not too red (almost like black cherry), but it is the perfect chocolatly deep brown that goes well with any decor!
I highly recommend this bed to anyone who will listen. It 's a beautiful, strong and looks like it will last for all children (schedule 2 or 3) Overall, good buy"
